But before beginning, you must make sure that your printer supports AirPrint from Apple. And also, make sure that your iPhone, iPad are connected to the same network as your printer. 

Now, open the app you want to give a print from in your iPhone and
Tap on the Share button from the app to get the print option.
Then, you have to tap on the three dots to open the menu, and you will see the printer icon or print listed. If the printer icon or print option is not there, then you have to look at the user guide of the app to see where it is. And you must know that not all apps on the iPhone support the AirPrint. 
Then, you can select the AirPrint-enabled Printer and choose the number of copies you want. 
And finally, hit the Print button to start printing the documents.
